This triptych represents 3 major bodily systems: skeletal + organ (left), the circulatory + glandular (right), and the sexual + reproductive (middle). Each piece has the ability to compositionally stand on its own, but stands truest when combined. (2013)

This series is constructed completely from vintage spaceship parts, deconstructed to create entirely new arrangements. The white powder coating reveals the intricate detail, while exposing the fascinating fact that objects from various decades and various origins can all embody the same design vocabulary. (2013)

Created as a statement toward the horrific Exxon Valdez oil spill, Ode uses a rustic 5-gallon oil drum lid as its backdrop. The repetitive spouts demonstrates the extreme levels of oil that spilled as a result. The crucified fish then is resurrected through a divine interjection. 

As the beginning of an ongoing urban "tag" series, this activist installation takes on the issue of gun control. Composed from rayguns found in thrift stores, the primary goal here is to remove toy guns as a play option for children from underserved communities. Since gun violence is often a result of inadequate foundations for our youth, this "gun-buy-back" program helps change mindsets through by limiting supply in the formative years. The result, an array of graphic red lasers seems almost to drip down the wall into large flowerburst pools - showing a utopic vision of the future of warfare...love.
